We press in our own facility and supply cosmetic manufacturers, private label brands and wholesale distributors in four grades — Extra Virgin, Virgin, and deodorized versions of both. Which grade is right for your formulation?
All four grades are cold-pressed at 18 °C from hand-cracked Moroccan argan kernels and certified organic under ECOCERT EU 2018/848 and USDA NOP. Your choice depends on odour tolerance, application type and target price point.
First cold-press at 18 °C. Full nutty aroma, deep golden colour. Maximum retention of tocopherols, polyphenols and squalene. The benchmark grade for premium face serums and treatment products.
Cold-pressed, lightly filtered. Mild characteristic aroma, clear golden colour. Balanced fatty acid and tocopherol profile. Excellent versatility for a wide range of cosmetic formulations.
Extra virgin base, deodorized by organic active carbon filtration — no steam, no chemical treatment. Neutral odour profile with preserved fatty acid integrity. Preferred by formulators working with fragrance-sensitive products.
Virgin base, deodorized via organic active carbon filtration. Cost-effective entry point for large-volume applications requiring a neutral carrier. Meets full organic certification requirements.

Fatty acid profile
What distinguishes genuine argan oil is not any single fatty acid : it is a stable oleic/linoleic balance combined with a sterol fraction that no other oil shares. Schottenol and spinasterol occur in argan oil and almost nowhere else, which is why laboratories use sterol composition alongside the fatty acid profile as an authenticity fingerprint. Adulteration with sunflower or soybean oil shifts both, which is what third-party analysis is designed to catch. Measured values for every lot are stated on the COA and TDS.
Also present: linolenic acid (Omega-3, <0.5%), schottenol and spinasterol (sterols unique to argan oil), squalene and tocopherols/vitamin E. Full GC fatty acid profile available in COA.

Purificados sources exclusively from the UNESCO Biosphere argan forest of southwestern Morocco — the only region where Argania Spinosa grows naturally. Wild-harvested argan fruit is processed at our ECOCERT-certified facility in the Souss-Massa region.
Ultra-cold pressing at 18 °C over a 12-hour kernel-to-oil process maximises tocopherol and squalene retention. Deodorized grades use organic active carbon filtration — no steam, no solvents — preserving the full fatty acid profile while neutralising odour. Every lot ships with a COA tied to its unique batch ID and retained counter-sample.
